Super Falcons Crash Out Women’s World Cup

Nigeria national women’s football team, the Super Falcons, has crashed out of the ongoing Women’s World Cup in France after they lost 3-0 to Germany on Saturday evening in the Round of 16.

Germany scored twice in the first half and then completed the tally in finishing minutes of the game.

Nigeria played with great resolve and showed skill, however, the Falcons had trouble converting chances against a German side that never really looked unbeatable.

Germany will play either Sweden or Canada on the quarterfinals.
