Stop killing Young #EndSARS Protesters, Hillary Clinton Tells Buhari, Army
Former United States Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton, has called on President Buhari and the Nigerian Army to ‘stop killing’ young #EndSARS protesters in the country.
Clinton made this known on Tuesday night shortly after soldiers reportedly shot at peaceful protesters at the Lekki tollgate area of Lagos State.
The ex-First Lady tweeted; “I’m calling on @mbuhari and the @hqnigerianarmy to stop killing young #EndSARS protesters. #StopNigeriaGovernment.”
The #EndSARS protesters have been demonstrating against police brutality and extrajudicial killings at the Lekki tollgate for over a week.
Recall that similar demonstrations have been staged in different parts of the state and across the country.
