Pari demands a necklace from Raghav. He gives her some money to buy one. Nandu tells Mohit about Preeti’s engagement. Bansi tells Sarla that Mohit has escaped. On Sarla’s orders, Bansi steals money from Riya.

Riya mortgages her necklace. Sarla is shocked to see Riya give her necklace to Pari. Rani questions Sarla on seeing her with a bundle of notes. Later, Sarla gives the money to Shanti.

Sarla assures Sharmili of taking care of Vyom and Preeti’s marriage. Kaushalya tries to make Preeti realise her mistake. Makdi tells Pari that Sharmili has bribed Sarla. Amit confronts his customer for insulting Sujeev.

Sarla pretends to kill herself. She asks everyone to promise her that Preeti’s marriage will go off smoothly. Rani slaps Amit for gambling and putting her at stake. She then locks Amit in his shop and calls the police.

Rani packs Amit and his gambling partners off to jail! Kaushalya asks Riya to stay away from Preeti until the marriage. Sarla is worried when Amit does not reach home.

Shanti parts with a few more lakhs from the money she had saved for Nimmi’s marriage. Preeti writes a suicide note to her family. She tells Riya that Mohit is blackmailing her. Meanwhile, Sarla waits for Amit and asks Rani about him.

Shanti learns that Riya had met Mohit. Pari adds chilli powder in the turmeric paste for Vyom. Sharmili asks Pari to apply turmeric on Vyom. Rani tells Sarla that she had sent Amit to jail for gambling and putting her at stake.
