StarLife Debuts A Lockdown Love Story

A new series A Lockdown Love Story  (Lockdown Ki Love Story) debuts on StarLife on Sunday, February 13 at 19h00, replacing Illusion which ends the day before.

Set in Prayagraj, the series follows the love story of Dhruv (Mohit Malik) and Sonam (Sana Sayyad) who are forced to share a house with their respective families due to the COVID-19 pandemic lockdown.

This forced Dhruv and Sonam to live out their romance under the glaring gaze of their parents, who have different perspectives on whether or not they should be together.

They go into lockdown together because of Covid and need to sneak to each others’ rooms when they want to get naughty when their over-involved parents are sleeping.

Dhruv’s mother Nutan and his aunt Sheetal oppose their relationship because of Sonam’s modern ways whereas her father Pratap finds Dhruv’s family very backward in their thinking.

However, the main cheerleaders of their union are Sonam’s mother Subhadra and Dhruv’s father Shashikant.
