While Saraswatichandra stays in his room, Kumud brings food to Saraswati in the asylum. Ghuman deceives Saraswati, claiming Kumud has poisoned her food and promising to reunite her with her son.

Kumud, Kusum and Guniyal observe the Vat Savitri Vrat fast. Saras, Danny and Vidyachatur also join secretly. When Kusum offers Danny food, he explains he is fasting.
