Stakerrs Fest: An Event To Connect Entrepreneurs Across Africa Coming To Lagos

The biggest entrepreneurship event in Africa, Stakerrs Fest, which will bring entrepreneurs from four major different industries, is set to hit Lagos.

The organisers of the event have tagged the maiden edition, “The Game Changers Edition” and it is billed to take place on February 17 at Landmark Center, Victoria Island, Lagos.

The event provides the platform for young entrepreneurs in Africa to excel in Fashion, Entertainment, Sports and technology, the four key areas shaping the world today, thereby turning passion to profit by selling to millions of people around the world.

The key objective of the event is for entrepreneurs who have made remarkable impact in their various industries to tell their stories – share the pains of their beginning, gains of fame along the way as well as their successes. This is to provide insight that perhaps will lessen the error margin and strengthen the weak ends of budding entrepreneurs.

Mr Adewale Hassan, founder of Stakerrs Fest told journalist during the press conference which held at Sheraton Hotel, Ikeja that, “Starkerrs Fest is a global entrepreneurship event designed to educate, inspire and connect entrepreneurs across the world. It features successful entrepreneurs who are accomplishing exceptional strides in society as they come to the platform and share their untold stories about how they built their successful companies and empires with the youths present at the event. At Stakerrs Fest, we celebrate their entrepreneurial spirit as they carve a niche for themselves to become global icons.

Stakerrs Fest is a Pan African event with a vision to raising global entrepreneurs from Africa; thereby creating Africa’s global brands. It’s about giving them a voice to reach the world, create opportunities to unleash their creativity and transforming lives using their God-give talent to make impact in the world,” he added.

According to the organisers, the goal of Stakerrs Fest includes, Job creation, entrepreneurship support as well as technology and innovation development.

The event which is designed to attract 1,500 guests will have speakers chosen specifically from the Fashion, Entertainment, Sports and Technology (FEST) sector. Also, 10 great entrepreneurs will be inducted into the Stakerrs Entrepreneurs Hall of Fame.
