South African Rapper Malome Vector Dies In Car Accident

South African rapper Malome Vector has died in a car accident.

 

Glamtush reports that popular South African singer-songwriter and rapper, Malome Vector, has died in a car accident

This online news platform understands that Vector was traveling with musical collaborators Puleng Phoofolo and Lizwi Wokuqala when the accident happened in the Free State on Wednesday evening.

The tragic incident was confirmed in a post on Wednesday evening by his former record label, Ambitiouz Entertainment.

Two others reportedly transported to Boitumelo Regional Hospital with injuries.

“With heavy hearts, we mourn the passing of a shining beacon; the Lion of Lesotho’s sun has set. Our deepest condolences go out to his loved ones and industry peers during this time of profound loss.”

A report by the Free State Department of Health explained that “three men were declared dead at the scene of an accident on the N1 near the Koppies turn-off close to Kroonstad.”

Malome relocated to South Africa and signed a recording deal with Ambitiouz Entertainment in 2020. Vector rose to prominence with his debut single “Dumelang” released in 2019 which became commercially successful and certified double platinum in South Africa.
