Come Sunday, November 17, all roads would lead to the city’s highbrow Lagos Airport Hotel, Ikeja, Lagos State, for the annual Classic Africa Merit Award (CAMA) Season 14.
This year’s edition will be under the distinguished chairmanship of Otunba (Sen.) Gbenga Daniel, former Ogun State governor and current Senator representing Ogun East Senatorial District.
The prodigiously hardworking governor of Lagos State, His Excellency, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu, will be the chief host for the much-anticipated recompense convention.
As usual, notable individuals and brands who have distinguished themselves in their fields of endeavor will jostle for 35 coveted award categories at the night of honour.
The keynote speaker, Prof. Harry Samuel, will deliver a paper on the theme, “Dynamics of Building Strong National Legacies in the Face of Security Challenged Economy,” which seeks to proffer a leeway from the economic and security quagmire facing the nation.
Special guests of honour will be the Speaker of Lagos State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Mudashiru Obasa; the Accord Party Presidential candidate in the 2023 general election, Prof. Chris Imumolen, the Chairman of Executive Group, Dr. Ayo Ogunsan, Chairman/CEO of Widescope Group, Olusegun Musa, Chairman of LASACO Assurance, Chief Mrs. Teju Philips; and the General Overseer of MFM, Dr. Daniel Olukoya.
Others are, APC stalwart and member of Lagos State Governor’s Advisory Council, Cardinal James Odumbaku, Founder of Rosula Foundation, Princess Osula Mku-Atu, Labour Party governorship Candidate in Lagos State, Arch. Gbadebo Rhodes Vivor, Accord Party governorship candidate in Edo State, Comrade Kennedy Iyere, General Overseer of Rhema Deliverance Mission, Dr. Anene Nwachukwu, Humanitarian and Senior Pastor of Watchtower Assembly, Pastor Samuel Olayinka, Prophet Victor Oziegbe of Word of Prayer Bible Church, Dr. Austin Peters of Fountain of Treasurers Assembly and Pastor Wole Akanmu, the Senior Pastor of Vine Habitation Ministry, while the Oyalaje Oodua, Princess Dr. Toyin will be the Mothers of the day.
