On February 17 through Children’s Hospital at Erlanger Facebook page, a message was sent to Dwayne ‘The Rock” on behalf of Gabriel “Tater” Singleton who is battling cancer. The message read:
“Help Tater meet Dwayne The Rock Johnson! Our friend Gabriel, aka “Tater,” has shown his strength in fighting cancer for more than 4 years. Now he’s looking to The Rock for help. Share this post and make Tater’s dream come true!”
Singleton is battling stage four neuroblastoma and dreams of meeting his fellow bald eagle. The 7-year-old has gone through eight surgeries, two stem cell transplants and chemotherapy.
He launched a campaign via Facebook that caught the eye of the Baywatch star. It read:
“I’ve been in cancer treatment for over 4 years,” the post read. “Losing my hair made me sad, but seeing you rock your bald head made it easier!”
The bodybuilding star saw Tater’s message, reposted the story on his Instagram account and officially extended an invitation to 7-year-old Tater to visit him on the set of his latest film, Baywatch.
