Shina Peters Former Dancer, Tessy Yembra Is Dead

The Nigerian entertainment industry has been hit by another heavy loss! Dance queen and dance teacher, Tessy Yembra is dead.

Tessy was the dancer who added flair and drama to Sir Shina Peters’ hit song, Afro Juju. She died on Wednesday, May 27, after a prolonged illness.

Until her death yesterday, she was a popular society figure, who related with the high and mighty. She was usually the first choice for an event anchor of many society functions.

The dance queen had her last major social outing in January this year when she celebrated the birthday of her granddaughter, Christabel Odunayo Araba.

Tessy as she was popularly known, will be greatly missed by the entertainment industry.

She died at the age of 63 and is survived by children and grandchildren.

May her soul rest in perfect peace, Amen.
