Glamtush reports that the Governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), in Delta State, Sheriff Oborevwori, has been declared the winner of Saturday’s Gubernatorial election.
This online platform gathered that Oborevwori polled 360, 234 votes to beat his closest rival of the APC, Senator Ovie Omo-Agege, who scored 240,229.
While the Labour Party candidate, Kennedy Pela came a distant third with 48,047.
Delta INEC Returning Officer, Prof Georgewill Owuneri Abraham, announced the result at the INEC headquarters in Asaba on Monday.
Abraham said, “The PDP candidate, having met the requirement of the law, is hereby declared the winner and returned as Governor-elect.”
