Tennis superstar Serena Williams, 35-year-old is a very happy woman right now. She recently got engaged to Reddit co-founder Alexis Ohanian. Williams broke the news on her fiancé’s website in the form of a sweet poem.
“I came home. A little late. Someone had a bag packed for me. And a carriage waited. Destination: Rome,” the 35-year-old wrote from her verified account. “To escort me to my very own ‘charming.’ Back to where our stars first collided. And now it was full circle. At the same table we first met by chance.”
She continued, “But by choice. Down on knee. He said 4 words. And I said yes.”
Ohanian shared the happy news on Facebook by posting a link to the story, writing, “She said yes.”
The couple started dating in 2015 after meeting at a luncheon and they have managed to keep their relationship off social media.
