Sanwo-Olu Denies Appointing MC Oluomo As GM Of Lagos Transport Parks

Sanwo-Olu has denied appointing Mc Oluomo as GM of Lagos Transport Parks.

Glamtush reports that Lagos State governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu has denied reports of the purported appointment of Musiliu Akinsanya, a.k.a MC Oluomo, as the general manager of Lagos State Transportation Parks and Garages Management Committee.

This online platform recalls that reports had emerged on Thursday that the state government had appointed Oluomo to manage the parks, hours after his suspension by the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW).

But in a statement on Friday, Gboyega Akosile, the chief press secretary to the Lagos State governor, said the news is false and should be disregarded.

According to Akosile, “Please disregard post(s) claiming that Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu has appointed suspended Chairman of NURTW, MC Oluomo as GM, Lagos Transport Parks and garages committee. There’s no such appointment.

“The statement issued yesterday by Mr Gbenga Omotoso, Hon Commissioner for Information and Strategy, remains the position of government. “
