Sani Buhari is Dead

Glamtush reports that industrialist and businessman, Alhaji Sani Buhari Daura, is dead.

According to Daily Trust the influential businessman died in Dubai in the early hours of Sunday at the age of 89.

This online platform understands that the renowned businessman was born in Daura, Katsina State, in January 1932.

Until his death, he was the owner of Standard Construction Company Limited and Chairman Bayajida Group.

He had his Islamic training under his father, who was the Kbadi of Daura and laterwentto Daura Elementary School in 1938.

He opened Bayajida Amenity Trading Company, his first firm in Kano in 1962.

Eight years later, the company changed to Bayajida Nigeria Limited.

He was honoured with the Officer of the Order of the Niger in 2003.

He hailed from President Muhammadu Buhari’s hometown.
