Glamtush reports that the former governor of Rivers State, Rotimi Amaechi has graduated with a law degree from Baze University, Abuja.
This online platform understands that the former minister of transportation announced his graduation in a tweet.
He tweeted, “Certified graduate of law.”
Baze university is owned by Yusuf Baba-Ahmed, vice presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP).
The university had its 9th convocation ceremony on Saturday where it graduated 504 students from various fields of study.
Amaechi had received a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Studies and Literature from the University of Port Harcourt in 1987.
Amaechi is not the first Nigerian politician to bag a law degree from Baze University.
In October 2021, Osita Chidoka, former minister of aviation, graduated with a second-class upper degree from the school’s law department.
Dino Melaye, a former senator representing Kogi West, was also one of the graduating students from the law department at the same time as Chidoka.
