Glamtush reports that award-winning Nigerian production designer and art director, Pat Nebo is dead.
This online news platform learnt that Pat Nebo died on Thursday from a prolonged illness that had left him bedridden.
Shaibu Husseini, a movie journalist and member of the African Movie Academy Awards jury, made the announcement in a post on his official X (formerly Twitter) on Thursday.
Sharing the deceased picture, Shaibu wrote: “I have been reliably informed that foremost Nigerian Production Designer Pat Nebo has passed on.
“He has been bedridden for a while now. Journey well master of the craft of film production design.”
Nebo began his career with his role as a production designer in ‘Ti Oluwa Nile’ in 1993.
He is credited as a production designer on acclaimed Nollywood productions like October 1, ’76, Being Mrs Elliot, Okafor’s Law and Citation.
He also worked as the art director for The Figurine, Phone Swap, and Half of a Yellow Sun.
