Although, Winner Egbo may not have won the recently held Project Fame West Africa season 9, but, she sure went home with loads of memories, both good and sad.
The 23-year-old Delta born said although she felt bad not clinching the first prize but passing through the reality show has taught her some lessons, one of which is how to multi-task.
“I felt I wasn’t good enough to compete at Project Fame. Coming to the Project for me was a miracle. It has taught me branding and how to be a better singer. Passing through Project Fame is one of the best thing that could happen to anyone.”
She stressed that, “I aimed at the crown. But when I did not win, I had to accept it and move on.”
“I hope to combine my education and music together. Project Fame has taught me how to multi-task and remain focused. But I believe they can improve the voting system. We have many people with good voice and talent who do not get voted for.”
Though Winner grew up among a family of six, she particularly shares a strong bond with her mum, whom she admits has been through a lot with her. She wants to grow into musical icons like Sinach, Celine Dion, and Beyonce.
