It has been confirmed that Nigerian-born Canadian-based Professor Pius Adesanmi, was among the 157 passengers who perished in the Ethiopian Airline that crashed in the early hours of today, Sunday, March 10.
The Boeing 737 air plane had lost contact with the control room some minutes after take off
Professor Adesanmi, who until his death, was a Professor of English at Carleton University in Canada and was on his way to attend the AU ECOSOCC Summit in Nairobi, Kenya.
He is a former assistant Professor of Comparative Literature at The Pennsylvania State University, he studied French Studies at University of British Columbia, Vancouver, Canada.
