Priyanka Chopra Reveals ‘Respect’ Is What Makes Her Relationship With Fiance, Nick Jonas Work

Baywatch actress and bride-to-be, Priyanka Chopra, got candid, in an interview with People magazine, as she divulges the secret of why her relationship with fiance, Nick Jonas, works.

The ‘Jealous’ singer proposed to the actress during her 36th birthday celebrations, in London with a $250 million Tiffany’s engagement ring.

The actress who held her bridal shower days ago at Tiffany’s Blue Box Cafe in New York in the interview was candid about her relationship with Nick as she talked about what makes their relationship work.

“Truly this (respect) is what worked for me, he has to be someone who respects you. By that, I don’t mean makes coffee for you, not that. But someone who respects the hard work you put into your life,” Priyanka revealed to People. According to Priyanka, her ideal man has to respect her work as much as he respects his own.

Priyanka relayed that if he makes a choice that is important to him then her opinion is also equally important. This according to Priyanka is what she means when using the term respect.

“Then, everything is so easy because you give each other credit for your intelligence, you give each other the benefit of doubt because you trust each other. There’s so much that comes out of that. I think don’t settle for less than that,” Priyanka added.
