Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are officially engaged. Prince Harry, the fifth in line to the British throne confirmed today, Monday, 27, that he has proposed to American actress, Meghan following a one year relationship.
In a tweet at 10 am this morning the palace said:
“The Prince of Wales is delighted to announce the engagement of Prince Harry to Ms. Meghan Markle.”
Meanwhile, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge said this about the engagement:
“We are very excited for Harry and Meghan. It has been wonderful getting to know Meghan and to see how happy she and Harry are together.'”
