Primate Ayodele’s warning on Governors Ayade, Umahi’s disappointment in APC has come to pass.
To be forewarned is to forearmed, this is the word that best describes the situation of the governors of Cross River and Ebonyi State, Ben Ayade, and Dave Umahi respectively.
Some months ago, both of them were all shades of smiles and joy as the ruling party, APC lured them into joining them with the promise of giving them a presidential ticket in 2023 as the clamour for a south east president gets visible.
Meanwhile, Primate Elijah Ayodele, the leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church warned both of them differently that they should not decamp to the ruling party.
Primate Ayodele is not a politician neither is he a PDP apologist but he has proven to be a strong spiritual figure in the country with his warnings and advice to people. As a matter of fact, this warning came before they joined the ruling party. As a prophet, he foresaw their defection and as a spiritual figure, he warned them and told them the consequences that will befall them.
He spoke about it first in 2020 and revealed that they will lose political relevance.
These were his words, “APC will crash soon, and the reason behind their joining the APC will not be achieved, if they should dump the PDP for APC, they will lose their political grounds completely.”
In 2021 when they finally decamped after failing to listen to his warnings, Primate Ayodele spoke again about what will befall them extensively.
These were his words, “The Governor of Cross River State, Ben Ayade, will be disappointed, especially in 2023.
His followers will kick against his instructions. His mission for 2023, which pushed him to decamping to the ruling party, will not be achieved.”
“The mission of Ebonyi Governor, Dave Umahi, to become the president or vice president will not see the light of the day.
“He will be jeopardised politically and his party will not win his state in 2023.
“Towards the end of the expiration of his tenure, most of his trusted aides and political allies will disappoint him.
“If he wants to stay relevant, he should return to his former party or go oblivion in the state.
“APC cannot win Ebonyi in 2023.”
To confirm this warning, the duo are currently counting their losses as they have laid claims of deceit by the ruling party.
The governor of Cross Rivers State recently expressed his disappointment through his actions. He claimed that the party agreed to give him the presidential ticket but suddenly changed when they registered a support group for Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu which of course means the party is likely to give the ticket to Tinubu.
In the same vein, Ebonyi state governor was told that he is the best candidate to become the next president in Nigeria and an agreement was reached by the party leaders before he agreed to decamp but as we speak, they are not in tandem.
These are definitely not unexpected because the man of God had warned them but he who fails to listen to the genuine prophetic warning will definitely face nemesis.
