Glamtush reports that popular Nigerian crossdresser, often referred to as Abuja Area Mama has been found dead in the Banex, Wuse II area of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT.
The crossdresser, whose full name was yet to be ascertained, lay lifeless along the Katampe-Mabushi Expressway on Thursday morning.
It was gathered that the crossdresser was attacked and killed on Wednesday night, August 7.
He was found dead by passersby wearing the same outfit he wore in a TikTok video he posted on Wednesday evening
The FCT Police Command Public Relations Officer, Josephine Adeh, while confirming the retrieval of the lifeless body in a statement, said that the Commissioner of Police, CP Benneth Igweh, has ordered a discreet investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident.
The Police command spokesperson explained that operatives of the Command, who responded to a distress call from the area, immediately took the man to Maitama District Hospital where he was pronounced dead by doctors on duty. She said updates on the matter will be communicated in due course.
