Winner of the just concluded Big Brother Naija, Efe Ejegba, has been appointed the Ambassador for Entertainment and Creative Industry of Plateau State by Governor Simon Lalong.
In a statement signed on behalf of Governor Lalong, by Emmanuel Nanle, the state Director of Press and Public Affairs, the governor noted that the appointment of the Delta State-born Efe is a call to all citizens of the state to ensure they place value on the common humanity of her citizens in a multicultural and cosmopolitan setting.
Congratulating him on his emergence as the winner of the show, the governor said the victory of Efe was a further proof of the brotherhood, excellence, courage and determination that characterizes the Plateau spirit. It would be recalled that the governor had on Friday, April 7, called on all Plateau citizens to stand in solidarity with Efe by voting and mobilizing others to vote for the home grown actor, who was on the verge of joining the team of successful Plateau citizens who have won the TV Reality event in the past.
Efe’s new appointment came yesterday, Tuesday, April 11, when organizers of the BBNaija show presented him with the keys to his SUV and N25 million cheque, to welcome him and Bisola Aiyeola, the first runner up of the show back home.
Congratulations!
