Family members, friends, and colleagues all gathered to celebrate the 60th birthday of Yeni Kuti, daughter of the late Afrobeat pioneer, Fela Anikulapo-Kuti on Monday.
Yeni, the legendary Nigerian dancer and media personality celebrated her Diamond age at the popular Afrika Shrine which was converted into a beautifully decorated hall.
The event was well attended by colleagues in the entertainment industry.
Governor of Lagos State, Babajide Sanwo-Olu was among the top dignitaries present to celebrate with the Kuti family.
Other dignitaries at the event include Nigerian filmmaker, Kunle Afolayan, veteran Nollywood actress, Taiwo Ajai-Lycett, Sunday Aare, Nigerian entertainment entrepreneur, Ayo Animashaun among others.
