Residents of Tse-Agberagba, Konshisha Local Government of Benue state were shell shocked yesterday when one, Mr. John Depuun killed his own child.
According to reports, the man who hails from Mbangur, Shangev Tiev area of the local government killed the child claiming he was only following God’s instruction to offer his child as a sacrifice.
Mr Depuun has since been arrested and cooling his heels at a Police station in Tse-Agberagba.
Efforts to reach the state Police spokesperson proved abortive.
