Over 1000 Education Leaders Expected At Business Of Education Summit 2022

Over 1000 education leaders are expected at the Business of Education Summit 2022.

Glamtush reports that the organiser of the Business of Education Summit, Edusko Inc, has confirmed that all is set to host the 6th edition of the event on November 3 at Muson Centre, Onikan Lagos.

This online platform understands that the annual summit is a gathering of education leaders in Nigeria and beyond to discuss actionable solutions to problems in our education system in order to build a better future for the current and coming generations of African children.

According to the convener, Jide Ayegbusi, “The Business of Education Summit was created and launched in 2017 and over the last 5 years, close to 10,000 top school directors, administrators, education entrepreneurs and policy makers have participated in the summit. In the same vein, over 80 renowned thought and global education leaders have honoured our invitation to share their perspectives with the delegates.”

The 2022 edition will dissect how education leaders can leverage the “Whole Child Approach” to education to prepare students for the future.

Mr. Ayegbusi said, “It is no longer a secret that academics alone is not sufficient for students to fully apply themselves in career and life. In recent times, experts have argued in favour of well-rounded or all-round education as a panacea to equipping our children for life. At the 2022 edition of the BoE, we will dissect how to prepare children for life through the whole child approach to education.”

“Our delegates are top private school owners, administrators, education entrepreneurs, captains of industry and key education stakeholders in the Nigerian and Ghanaian education sectors. The summit is free for all the invited delegates,” said Ayegbusi.

Some of the speakers expected at this year’s edition are; Mosun Belo-Olusoga, former chairman of access bank and founder, City of Knowledge Academy; Dr. Adebambo Adebowale, Dean & Director, FATE School of Entrepreneurship; Dr. Adeyinka Oduwole, Director of Studies, Rainbow Educational Services, Dr. Wole Aderinkomi, Experienced School Administrator and Dr. Fahad Ghalib, International Education Specialist.

Others include: Professor Chris Jacobs, Founder, Higher Learning Africa; Alex Felma, General Partner, Felma Family Office, USA; Tsepo Ngwenyama, Programmes Head, Injini; Ebun Ejirinde, Director, Dixon & Ricks; Yinka Awobo-Pearse, Lead Consultant, Woodentots Consults & Dr. Olubukola Tokede, Senior Lecturer, Deakin University, Australia.

The Business of Education Summit is an initiative of Edusko Inc. Edusko is an education company leveraging technology & data to make life easier for all in the African education community. Its flagship, Edusko.com, is Africa’s leading education marketplace for schools, parents, students, lenders and more.

The summit is sponsored by Pearson & Deakin University.
