Osun Hotelier, Falola Oke Shot Dead Near His Home
A hotelier in Ilesha, Osun State, Falola Oke, has been shot dead by yet-to-be identified gunmen near his house.
The deceased, said to be the proprietor of Falola Hotel and Rental Services, was gunned down around 9.30pm on Wednesday.
A source in the Fadahunsi/Imo area of Ilesha, who spoke on condition of anonymity, said Oke was shot at close range near his residence by the gunmen.
The source said the perpetrators immediately fled the scene and threw the neighbourhood into panic.
A close associate of the deceased, Isaac Hastrup, in a Facebook post described Oke as “a dogged fighter and a good ambassador of C&S church Idasa Youth Forum.”
Police have also confirmed the death of the hotelier.
