Osimhen Certainly Not Playing Like £100 Million Player – McManaman

McManaman says Osimhen is certainly not playing like £100m player.

Glamtush reports that former Real Madrid and Liverpool star, Steve McManaman has insisted that Napoli attacker, Victor Osimhen is certainly not playing like a £100million player at the moment.

McManaman also explained why he thinks Osimhen is destined to play in the Premier League as from next season.

Speaking on TNT Sports, McManaman said, “His sellable value, it has to be the Premier League because Germany of course have not got the finances. The big teams in Spain have not got the finances, particularly if Real Madrid take Mbappe.

“The only place he can go is the Premier League and he is certainly not playing like a £100 million player and that is what they want for him.”

Osimhen has had goalscoring troubles in recent weeks.

He scored just once at the just concluded 2023 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON), before the Champions League tie 1-1 draw between Napoli and Barcelona at the Diego Maradona Stadium in mid-week.

Osimhen will leave Napoli at the end of the season.

The Nigeria international has been linked with Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain.
