Oscar Pictorius has been granted bail by Deputy President Aubrey Ledwana as he appeals his conviction for the murder of his girlfriend, Reeva Steenkamp which happened in 2013.
The Paralympic gold medalist hearing will take place April 18, 2016. He is being asked to pay 10,000 rand for his bail.
However, the bail conditions clearly states that: He must appear at 9am on postponement date, he will be under house arrest but may leave between 7am-12pm, he will only be allowed to travel within a 20km radius.
Others are he can only leave home by informing investigating officer, he cannot leave magisterial district (Tshwane), he must hand over passport and may not apply for any passports until the conclusion of the matter and that he will be monitored electronically.
