Oromoni’s mother has wept, laid a curse over her son’s death.
Glmtush reports that the mother of Sylvester Oromoni, a student of Dowen College who died after allegedly being attacked by some students of the school, has made a video of herself praying for vengeance from God.
The video posted on social media on Wednesday followed Lagos State Government’s director of public prosecution (DPP) exonerating the students and officials linked to the death.
Oromoni’s family had said the students fed their son a chemical substance. But the DPP said complicity was not established.
The students cleared are Favour Benjamin, 16; Edward Begue, 16; Ansel Temile, 14; Kenneth Inyang, 15; and Micheal Kashamu, 15.
The school’s staff who were also cleared are Celina Uduak, Valentine Igboekweze, Hammed Bariyu, Adesanya Olusegun and one Adeyemi.
Speaking in the video, shortly after the students and officials of Dowen College were exonerated, Oromoni’s mother said, “The whole world will know that there is God that fights for the oppressed.
“Jehovah God, arise. King of glory, arise and cut short the lives of those that cut the life of my son short, including those supporting them.
“Let them feel the pains that I’m passing through. If they breathe the air that you created, God let your rod fall on them.”
With tears in her eyes, she added that while others were celebrating Christmas and the New Year, she could not do so.
