Ooni Of Ife Called Out Over Tinubu’s Insolence

Ooni Of Ife Called Out Over Tinubu’s Insolence

A recent gaffe of the Ooni of Ife, His imperial Majesty, Oonirisa Oba, Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, Ojaja 11 is now a subject of discussion on social media as he’s seen standing in a picture that’s now gone viral whilst APC National Chairman, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu is sitting down.

An aggrieved Nigerian, Nurudeen Toba Tiamiyu took to his FB page and wrote: ”The man does more comedy skits than taking that throne seriously. When the Oracle is no more consulted to pick an Oba again in Yoruba Land, these are the anomalies you get. Imagine the Oba of Bini standing and such a fellow sitting down. His goons would soon tell you the scenario is different soon. I can’t imagine this under the last two Ooni. Look at the other one in Iwo a revered Yoruba town being desecrated by their king.

Oba Okunade Sijuade, orun re baba. No wonder Ikabod will not stop talking about this king. When the king himself won’t stop disrespecting the throne, why wouldn’t she ne do her do.
Tuehlistic… AFO”

As the picture continues to generate a heated debate on social media platforms, we are yet to get a clear explanation and reactions from the palace of the revered monarch as oonirisa’s media adviser, Mr. Moses Olafare who couldn’t not be reached as he didn’t pick calls placed to him by our City News editorial team. However, it is gathered that the media adviser’s phone may have been hacked.
