The hatchet workers don’t want you to know this, but the tricycle ambulance of Governor Dapo Abiodun of Ogun State currently generating a backlash is an initiative recently launched by the governor to provide quick and efficient emergency services to rural areas where traditional ambulances are not easily accessible due to poor road conditions and failure of past administrations to fix them.
To the naysayers and short-sighted critics, the tricycle ambulance initiative is a well-thought-out plan aimed at improving emergency healthcare services in rural areas. It is not a permanent solution but rather a quick and temporary alternative to reach areas where traditional ambulances cannot access.
Governor Abiodun’s administration is committed to providing quality healthcare services to all residents of Ogun state, and the tricycle ambulance initiative is just one of the several innovative approaches the government is using to bridge the gap in emergency healthcare services.
Let me use this opportunity to urge some of my colleagues in the media to be objective in their reportage and avoid sensationalizing issues that are intended for the betterment of the people. It is important to note that the Governor’s administration is listening to the yearnings of the people and working hard to deliver on its mandate of providing quality governance to the people of Ogun State.
In conclusion, I commend Governor Abiodun’s efforts towards improving healthcare services in Ogun State, and we call on all citizens to support the tricycle ambulance initiative and other innovative healthcare initiatives of the government. Together, we can build a better and healthier Ogun State.
