NPL Releases Fixtures For Super 8 Tournament In Lagos

NPL has released the fixtures for the Super 8 Tournament in Lagos.

 

Glamtush reports that the fixtures for the Super 8 pre-season tournament at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena, Onikan Lagos have been released by the Nigeria Premier League (NPL).

The competition will act as preparations for the six sides that took part in the zonal playoffs at the Eket Township stadium in Akwa Ibom two weeks ago and the two teams with wildcards invited to take part in the tournament.

The fixtures made available show that the competition which begins in Lagos on Friday, July 7 and runs until July 16 will be played with two days of interval in Groups A and B.

The pre-season tournament has been endorsed by some leading Nigerian brands and will be broadcast live on pay television.

 

The highlight of the tournament will be the fixture between Premier League champions, Enyimba FC and Remo Stars on July 9 at 2 pm Nigerian time.
