This news platform understands that actor Emeka Okoye announced the sad news in an Instagram post today, Wednesday, February 5.
Expressing shock about Ugwu’s sudden departure, Okoye shared her funeral details.
Speaking about his fears, the actor described the recent spate of losses in the Nigerian movie industry as unusual.
He wrote,
“Rest in peace sis. Pat Ugwu. So we no get to work again? Death why? Rest in peace PAT. May your soul rest in the bosom of the Lord.
“God please protect all my colleagues especially those I’m close to. This unusual Death is frightening . I proclaim life to everyone close to me in this 2025 in the precious blood of Jesus. Amen.”
Her colleagues have also expressed their sadness over her sudden demise.
