Dear Etinosa Idemudia
Season’s greetings to you, I hope this meets you well. Please do not take my sincere Sisterly advice for granted or see it as a Shade. Truly in my heart, I can understand how challenging our Industry is and the need to remain relevant but I tell you hey, it’s all about patience, hard work and Grace of God. I think you are a bundle of talent if you stick to it, focus on your acting career dear and forget about controversies. Unfortunately, controversies and sex trends more and sells in this industry but the question is, is it dignifying?
Lately, you have been in the news for the Wrong Reasons and trust me I don’t judge you. I’m only worried as a human being and colleague in the same industry. This is dishonouring to actors, womanhood, Christians and even Nigerians.
Sometimes I wonder if you ever think of your family – nuclear and extended, especially your parents. Do you even have a boyfriend? What about is thought and that of his family?
I can’t keep calm about your most recent scandal of messing with the Bible as you’ve gone too far, girl. But we will always pray for you for God’s mercy and intervention because that’s a huge insult and slap to us all.
I’m penning this to you not because I want to get involved in your life; I just want to advise you to please stop it! Enough is Enough! Retrace your steps to your priorities in life. Do not mess with the Quran or Muslims not even for a million dollars. Stop exposing yourself to danger my dear. We love you but God loves you the most. Have a rethink and take a chill pill.
Fame can be intoxicating sometimes, but follow the real superstars and role models like Genevieve Nnaji, Omotola Jalade-Ekehinde, Rita Dominic, Kate Henshaw, Adesua Etomi and, Dakore Akande. They’re so famous and internationally recognized, this they achieved without messing around through nudity and spoiling religions.
Please let’s do the right thing as role models. I think we can help you in Secure D’ Future Initiative for counselling and mental health issues. I’ll always be ready to speak with you one on one.
Yours sincerely,
Rtn Lady Mina Horsfall
