Nollywood actress cum businesswoman, lyabo Ojo, has expressed appreciation to everyone who got involved in helping to resolve her over 18 million naira income tax bill imposed on her by the Lagos State Government.
This online news platform recalls that the state government in June issued the mother of two a letter, demanding that the actress pay N18,640,092.00 as personal income tax within seven days or risk jail term.
Glamtush recalls that the Lagos government in a letter sent to the actress which she posted on Instagram, accused her of owing N7,376,000.00 tax for the year 2022 and N11,264,092 in back taxes for the 2021 tax year.
However, in a new development, Iyabo Ojo via her Instagram on Tuesday extended appreciation to the Lagos State Internal Revenue Service boss, Ayodele Subair for giving her a better payment plan after adjusting the previous plan.
Iyabo Ojo also her thanked her boyfriend Paulo Okoye, legal team and everyone, who helped in fixing the tax issues.
In her appreciation post on her Instagram page, she wrote, “I want to first start by saying a very big thank you to God almighty for always coming through for me.
“Secondly, i would like to thank the Lirs boss himself Mr Ayodele Subair….. for looking into my personal income tax, adjusting it and giving me a better payment plan , I’m so grateful, sir, also to Director Jimi Aina, i say thank you too, and God bless you.
