Nnamdi Kanu lawyer has given an update ahead of trial resumption.
Glamtush reports that Ifeanyi Ejiofor, lead counsel to the detained leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu has said all is set for the secessionist to reappear in court to continue his trial next week.
This online platform understands that this was contained in a statement issued on Friday.
In the statement, Ejiofor expressed optimism that the outcome of the next proceeding would be favourable to Kanu stressing that the secessionist is in high spirits to appear before Justice Binta Nyako of the Federal High Court Abuja.
The statement claimed Nnamdi Kanu’s detractors will be comprehensively humbled and permanently put to shame after the next court session.
It said, “In the course of the visit, our discussions focused primarily on our final preparations for the legal battle that would resume on the turf of the Federal High Court, Abuja Judicial Division, from next week and on subsequent adjourned dates, if any.
“We coalesced the product of our individual reflections on the most potent legal strategies henceforth to be adopted, fine-tuned and harmonized them, and then distilled them into a single, conclusive, potent, workable formula.
“We are optimistic that the court outings of Onyendu would be impressive. Onyendu himself is in high spirit.
“You will all behold with your eyes an interesting dimension in the harmonized workable formula we have evolved.
“The detractors of Onyendu will be comprehensively humbled and permanently put to shame. Further, Onyendu utilized the opportunity afforded by our visit to mandate us to admonish his teeming supporters and followers.”
