Nigerians have slammed Femi Fani-Kayode for joining the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) despite his criticism of the party in the past.
Mai Mala Buni, Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Caretaker Committee confirmed Fani-Kayode’s defection as he presented him to President Muhammadu Buhari at the Presidential Villa, Abuja on Thursday.
Speaking after the meeting, Fani-Kayode said God ordained his defection as he was led by the spirit.
This has led to criticisms from Nigerians on social media who called him a ‘Hungry’ politician and a bad role model who should be ashamed for defecting to a party he once criticized.
