1. The presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, was absent on Thursday when the presidential candidates of other political parties signed a peace accord ahead of the 2023 elections. Tinubu, who is currently in London, was represented by his running mate, Kashim Shettima.
2. The Catholic Diocese of Enugu, yesterday, lifted the ban on Rev Fr Ejike Mbaka’s adoration ministry. The development was disclosed in a statement issued on Thursday by the controversial priest.

9. Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) has maintained that no court in Nigeria has the authority to try its leader, Nnamdi Kanu, insisting his rendition was illegal. Spokesperson of the group, Emma Powerful, in a statement, yesterday, said the Nigerian court has violated local and international laws by allegedly condoning Kanu’s rendition.
