Nigerian Breweries Fulfills Promise To Maltina Teacher Of The Year, Donates Block Of Classrooms

Nigerian Breweries Plc has donated a six-classroom block, library and conveniences to Mastercare International School, Asaba, through its Felix Ohiwerei Educational Trust Fund, in honour of the 2017 Maltina Teacher of the Year, Mr. Felix Ariguzo, who teaches at the school.

At the official commissioning of the facility which recently took place in Asaba, Delta State, the Managing Director of Nigerian Breweries, Mr. Jordi Borrut Bel, represented by the company’s Head, Government Relations, Mr Vivian Ikem maintained that the gesture came as part of the winning prize for Ariguzo.

Mr. Ikem added that in line with Nigerian Breweries’ philosophy of winning with Nigeria, the company resolved in 1994 to play a more active role in the development of education in Nigeria with the establishment of the Nigerian Breweries – Felix Ohiwerei Educational Trust Fund, through which the Maltina Teacher of the Year initiative is funded.
