Rohr has predicted the country that will qualify for the 2022 World Cup in Nigeria vs Ghana match.
Glamtush reports that former head coach of Nigeria, Gernot Rohr, has backed the team to qualify for the 2022 World Cup ahead of Ghana.
Nigeria host the reverse fixture of their playoff on Tuesday, following a 0-0 draw in Kumasi.
Rohr bemoaned the absence of the suspended Alex Iwobi but insisted the Super Eagles have what it takes to beat the Ghanaians.
“Nigerians missing Iwobi is not good, he is very good at giving incisive passes…“I will tip Nigeria to win 2-1.
“Ghana have players for counter-attacks, so if they want to qualify they must use that and make sure they don’t concede,” Rohr told Accra-based Angel FM.
The last time Nigeria hosted Ghana in a World Cup qualifiers was in July 2001 and they won 3-0 in Port Harcourt.
