Nigeria Needs Prayers – Buhari

President Muhammadu Buhari has urged Nigerians to continue to pray for peace and stability.

Buhari made the call in his address at the 70th anniversary of the Qaddriyya on Saturday in Kano, NAN reports.

Represented by Sabo Nanono, Minister of Agriculture, Buhari said prayers would foster unity and help crush security challenges.

The Nigerian leader urged the youths to use federal government empowerment programmes to learn trades and become self-reliant.

The President commended Qadiriyya leader, Sheikh Qaribullah Nasiru-Kabara, for his support and spiritual intervention over the years.

The Sultan of Sokoto, Sa’ad Abubakar, and the Emir of Kano, Aminu Bayero, urged Nigerians to live in peace and continue their supplication for the nation.
