Nigeria Confirms 296 New COVID-19 Cases

 

 

Nigeria on Thursday recorded 296 new cases of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19), according to the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC).

The health agency, in a late-night tweet, put the total number of cases in the country at 53,317 with 1,o11 dead and 40,726 persons discharged.

Plateau topped the list of states with new cases with 85, while Enugu ranked second with 46.
