A new Telenovela titled, Love of My Life premieres today (tonight), Monday, February 23, on Telemundo Africa.
Love of My Life with the Spanish title, La Mujer de mi Vida, centres on Ricardo Oribe, a physically unattractive but wealthy and successful businessman who is deeply devoted to his family and passionately in love with his stunning wife Daniela, an ambitious young actress.
His seemingly stable world collapses when his closest friend, Emilio, betrays him in the most brutal way – attempting to kill him in order to seize his business empire and the family life he has always envied.
Despite being presumed dead by his family and friends, Ricardo survives the attack, only to lose his memory completely.
Fifteen years pass, during which time he undergoes profound physical changes and eventually regains his memories, along with the painful truth of what was taken from him.
Determined to reclaim his life, Ricardo adopts a new identity as Pablo Silva, staying in the shadows to avoid the legal consequences of the crime Emilio orchestrated.
Under this new persona, he quietly returns to the world he once knew, seeking to reconnect with his wife, children and friends – without revealing who he truly is.
As he works to recover the love and life stolen from him, Ricardo must move carefully, knowing that being exposed could destroy not only his second chance, but also the lives of those he still loves.
