The Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) has reacted to the death of one of its senior staff in a ghastly road accident.

Nuhu Hamman ’Gabdo, a Principal Manager in the Human Capital and Administration Department, died alongside his wife, four kids, his niece and driver.

The ugly incident happened along Nasarawa-Abuja Expressway on Saturday, January 9, as the family was heading back to Abuja after spending the holiday in his country home, Serti in Gashaka Local Government Area of Taraba State.

The NCC expressed shock and deepest grief over the sad occurrence.

“The entire Board, Management and staff of NCC express their deepest grief over the incident and commiserate with the entire family, relatives and friends of the deceased,” the Commission said in a statement signed by Dr. Ikechukwu Adinde, Director, Public Affairs.

The Commission prayed that the Almighty “grants the deceased eternal peace in His bosom and that the entire NCC and the deceased family find the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss,” the statement added.
