Drinking enough water helps to regulate the body temperature. When you are hydrated, you are cooler and you will sweat less. So it is advisable to drink at least eight glasses of water a day.

You should select and wear natural and breathable fabrics like cotton and linen that do not trap heat and moisture of sweat. Cotton and linen allows air to circulate as well reduce sweating.
You should endeavour to take your bath at least 2-3 times daily to reduce how you sweat.
Avoid eating spicy foods as it can increase the amount of sweat you produce. Also avoid eating foods such as garlic and onions, as the strong odours associated with these foods can come out through your sweat.
Applying apple cider vinegar under your arms before bedtime helps to balance out the PH in your skin, to help reduce sweat the following day. That’s why it is considered one of the best home remedies for excessive sweating.
