A Kaduna content creator who dared the EFCC over naira abuse has been arrested.
Glamtush reports that Muhammed Kabir Sa’ad, a Kaduna-based social media content creator, has been arrested days after he posted a video stepping on naira notes he deliberately threw on the floor and daring the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) to arrest him.
This news platform understands that Sa’ad was arrested by operatives of the Kaduna Zonal Directorate of the EFCC for allegedly abusing Naira notes, spokesperson for the anti-graft agency said in a statement.
According to a statement released by the Commission on Monday via X, Sa’ad was apprehended by operatives of the Kaduna Zonal Directorate after he shared a video on his social media accounts openly daring EFCC officers to arrest him if they could.
“Sa’ad made a video of himself on his TikTok and Instagram accounts (@youngcee0066), where he was seen throwing naira notes on the floor, deliberately stepping on them, and daring EFCC officers in Hausa language to arrest him if they could.
“He was subsequently picked up in the Tudun Wada area of Kaduna State through surveillance and conveyed to the Kaduna Zonal Directorate of the Commission for interrogation,” the statement said.
The EFCC stated that Sa’ad will be charged in court upon the conclusion of the investigation.
