Glamtush reports that telecommunications giant, MTN Nigeria has responded to the service disruption encountered by some subscribers on Wednesday.
Subscribers experienced difficulties in making calls and utilizing their data services.
However, in addressing the situation, MTN attributed the network disruption to multiple fibre cuts. However, the company assured its subscribers that its team of engineers are working hard to resolve the issue and restore normal service operations.
This development occurred on the day on marked as the deadline for telecom operators to deactivate all lines not associated with the National Identification Number (NIN), as mandated by the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC).
