Mouka Receives Nigeria Association Of Orthopaedic Manual Therapists Endorsement
Nigeria’s leading mattress and other bedding products manufacturer, Mouka, has been endorsed by the Nigeria Association of Orthopaedic Manual Therapists (NAOMT) ahead of Mouka’s 60th anniversary.
The endorsement comes on the back of consistency in quality delivery and innovative mattress production which have characterized the brand’s market trajectory in Nigeria.
According to Mouka’s Chief Executive Officer, Raymond Murphy, Mouka is Nigeria’s champion of healthy sleep, an attribute which its products have consistently delivered in its 60 years of operating in the mattress and bedding industry.
This endorsement signals a ten-year partnership between the brand and the Association. Both parties signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to officially seal the mutual relationship on Friday 4th October, at Mouka’s corporate head office in Ikeja area of Lagos State.
Chief Executive Officer of the indigenous manufacturing company, said Mouka’s partnership with NAOMT sets a new benchmark for the brand in quality delivery.
“This partnership is three-pronged. It covers product endorsement, collaboration in research and sponsorship. The association will also carry out routine inspection, to ensure that our manufacturing facilities are of first-class standard, and to ensure that the claims we make for the Mouka products remain valid” Mouka’s Chief Executive Officer said.
He explained further; “We’ll work together to engineer new products to meet the physiological needs of the Nigerian consumer.”
National President of the Association, Dr. Onigbinde Ayodele, described the endorsement of Mouka as an offshoot of a detailed assessment of the brand’s portfolio.
According to him, Mouka’s Wellbeing Orthopaedic mattresses are produced to a high standard which other players in the industry are yet to match.
“Mouka engineered their Wellbeing Regina & Regal mattresses to orthopaedic standards that will meet the needs of the community of people using the mattresses. There’s a wide difference between Mouka and other mattresses,“ Dr Onigbinde said.
NAOMT President further remarked; “Before we decided to endorse Mouka, we went round to inspect the production process and we have seen that it meets international standards and it is suited for purpose. For now, this is the only product we have seen, inspected, and tested; and we have found it to be compliant of orthopaedic standards”
Meanwhile, Mouka recently launched Comfort-a-Home initiative to celebrate decades of brand excellence and market dominance in Nigeria.
The initiative which is part of activities marking the brand’s 60th anniversary seeks to comfort homes with free donations of Mouka branded mattresses in line with the company’s Corporate Social Responsibility programme.
Under the initiative members of the public are expected to nominate homes they believe deserve to be comforted with donations of free Mouka mattresses between October 1st to 31,2019.
Other products in Mouka’s portfolio include Mondeo Spring, Comfy, Flora and Dreamtime mattresses and Mouka Mozzi insect repellents.
This endorsement by NAOMT is believed to provide another leverage for the sustenance of the brand’s leadership position.
