Meet 10-Year-Old Akubuisi Okonkwo Crowned Youngest King In Nigeria
A 10-year-old boy, Akubuisi Okonkwo, has become the youngest king in Igboland and Nigeria after he was crowned following his father’s death.
Akubuisi Okonkwo was crowned the Igwe Olanme II of Iyiora Anam kingdom in Anambra West Local Government Area of Anambra State.
His father also, when emerged the king was the youngest at the time and ruled till he passed on.
His father, Igwe Akuebisi, the Olame 1 Of Iyiora Anam Anambra state was buried in December 2020 and the boy was crowned on Thursday, January 7.
He is to henceforth be addressed as his Royal Highness (Igwe) Olanme 11 of Iyiora.
The entire community of Iyiora Anam have congratulated him and have started addressing him as king.
